Connectivism

I really enjoyed ‘Siemens’ Article on Connectivism even though it is modern in theory, the Going with the Flow concept is quite primitive connecting with the sub conscious nature and survival mode. This innate knowing is used in all types of learning environments. If you are engaged in the content, your knowledge will amplify with the support of technology that’s a huge In Crowd. For the techno savvy this cycling of knowledge information will be up to date. The risk would be the weak interrelations of one’s own small world (Laundauer & Dumais, 1997) or is the knowledge new and not been said a thousand times. Our lives are moving so fast that recall of information is yet again a challenge. It seems to me that the majority of assessing learners’ favours being in the moment and that recall is still a weaker position. I think a recap of what learning has just happened

e.g Q & A or brainstorming activity will deepen knowledge, complemented by scaffolding other lessons on key learning topics/areas.
